Christmas in a box

It’s that time of the year again; the blind can see it and even the deaf can hear it. Close down sales are on the increase to make way for new deliveries, parents avoid going to the shopping malls cos’ their kids want all the toys on display. Christmas is the ultimate example of love and giving; it goes beyond Valentine’s day, a period the world stood still, angles came down on earth, wise men had to trace the star, the king had to call for a meeting with the great scholars of his time just to explain the birth of Jesus Christ.

There can be no Christmas without giving, some of us are privileged to have a check sign on our gift list while some are just praying someone will pass by and drop a few cups of rice, some spices, they don’t want chicken or vegetable oil cos’ that will be some extra luxury. But you know we can make the dream of some little children come to pass, we can give them a memorable Christmas by teaming up with Slum2School Project.

We are presenting you with another great opportunity to bring love and happiness to the lives of over a thousand children and their families living in remote communities, this Christmas.

Since 2012, Slum2School initiated the CHRISTMAS IN A BOX campaign designed to raise and share Christmas boxes filled with several gifts to children across slums. In 2012 over 800 Boxes of lovable gifts were distributed to children in 3 different communities. This December, on the 19th, 20th and 21st, hundreds of our volunteers will have a 3days tour to 5 communities across Lagos state with 1000 Boxes containing Christmas gifts for Children.

From any part of the world, we are inviting you to join us in bringing hope to the lives of these children by helping raise 1000 Christmas boxes with gifts to give them their most memorable Christmas experience. We will also be organizing parties at the different locations and to join us in this amazing tour or to donate gift boxes, kindly sign up here and together let’s bring more hope to the faces of 1000 children and inspire them to be great.
